South West Regional Cyber Crime Coordinator to speak at CyNam 19.1

We’re pleased to welcome Detective Sergeant Jonathan Atkin as our latest speaker for the next CyNam networking event later this month.

As Regional Cyber Coordinator for the five South West’s police forces, Jonathan Atkin often works as part of an investigative team working internationally, in partnership with the likes of the NCCU, Europol and the FBI.

He’ll be sharing some of his unique insights at the CyNam 19.1 event in Cheltenham, March 21 in his talk titled ‘Fighting Cybercrime Across Borders’. Professor Mark West joins speaker line-up for March CyNam hub event

It’s not long until our next CyNam networking event on March 21, and we’re excited to reveal Professor Mark West has joined our line-up of eminent speakers.

As Head of Strategic Offerings for Cyber at Roke, Mark has over 25 years of experience in consultancy, digital resilience, software engineering, internet standardisation and international collaborative research programmes.

For CyNam 19.1, he will be sharing some of his knowledge, in his presentation, he will be talking about the worrying side of the connected world and the importance of digital resilience.
