CyNam Events

The CyNam calendar brings together events created and delivered by CyNam, events developed in collaboration with our partners, and selected events from across the wider cyber and technology community. Look for the label on each event to understand CyNam’s role, who is organising it, and whether it forms part of a particular CyNam event series.

Headline Events
CyNam’s flagship thought-leadership events, bringing together speakers and participants from across industry, government and academia.

CyNam Events
Events led, organised or delivered by CyNam, including workshops, roundtables, networking sessions and special events. Partner organisations may also contribute expertise, speakers, connections or promotional support.

In Collaboration
Events jointly developed or delivered by CyNam and one or more partner organisations, with responsibility shared between the organisations involved.

Community Events
Selected third-party events that may be valuable to Gloucestershire’s cyber and technology community. These events are organised independently and shared by CyNam for the benefit of its network.

We’re moving our events to Luma

We’re making it easier to discover, register for and keep up with CyNam events.

From now on, CyNam event registrations will be managed through Luma, replacing Eventbrite as our primary events platform.

Luma gives us a simpler way to bring our events together in one place, keep our community updated and make registering for the events that matter to you as straightforward as possible.

You can explore upcoming CyNam events, register your place and follow the CyNam Events calendar on Luma to hear about new events as they’re announced.

EVENT FAQs

Is parking available at your events?

As we use a wide range of venues for our events, we can’t guarantee parking availability for attendees. We do, however, always consider good public transport links when confirming venues, and are happy to share parking details where available.

Is there a dress code?

There is no set dress code for our events. We encourage you to wear whatever you’re comfortable in. Business casual is the most common choice among our attendees.

Do you offer catering?

All of our events include complimentary soft drinks, and we aim to offer food wherever possible. Refreshments are typically served on arrival, with a further break for food (lunch or evening catering, depending on the event) partway through. Exact timings and offerings vary by event structure, so do check the specific event details.

Will there be photography?

To capture the highlights from all our events, we always have photography on-site, with videography also at our headline events. If you’d like to attend but would prefer not to appear in this footage, just let a member of our team know and we’ll factor this into the photography plan for the event.

Are your events free to attend?

We’re a non-profit, so we always try to keep our events free for our community, and we’ve stuck to that since day one. On occasions we do need to operate a paid ticket system (typically for our larger events), we keep this as low as possible, usually between £5–£10 per event, but are always open to conversations around making ticket purchasing possible.

Are your event venues accessible?

We aim to ensure every venue we choose is fully accessible. If you have any specific requirements or would like us to be aware of anything ahead of the event, please let us know and we’ll be happy to accommodate where we can.

Key timing information

Our event timings can vary depending on the occasion. However, as with all our events, we ask that you arrive at least 15-minutes before the start time to ensure a smooth event kick-off..

Can I get involved in your events?

Absolutely! Our events are centered around our community, and we always welcome new knowledge and perspectives in our line-ups. Please reach out to the team if you’d like to get involved.

Event sponsorship

Our events wouldn’t be possible without our event and annual sponsors. If you’d like to learn more about becoming a sponsor and playing a part in our incredible community, please get in touch.
