CyNam 19.3 – Virtual threats, Operational realities

Thursday, 10 October 2019

6:00 pm – 9:00 pm

Jurys Inn,
Cheltenham,
GL51 0TS
United Kingdom (map)

CyNam 19.3 will focus on the challenges faced by Operational Technology (OT) organisations as they come to terms with cyber security as a reality. For many, as their OT platforms become more connected, open, distributed and digitally-driven, this is becoming a shock to the system: one which many of them were not expecting to face. How will they address these challenges? And how can the UK’s cyber community support them?

Join us as we seek to answer the questions OT organisations are already asking – and some they might not have thought to ask – about digital connectivity and the cyber threat:

  • Joining the digital ecosystem: how can OT grow securely in the wide-open digital space?
  • Crossing the software and hardware boundary: what lessons can ‘connected OT’ learn from IT?
  • OT without frontiers: where will digital OT need and be able to travel across industries and supply chains?
